Your musical contribution made a marvellous, and most unusual ending to the service. Everyone said afterwards how moving they had found it to listen to the Piper's Lament at the end of the service, fading away, and during the reception.
You looked resplendent in your regalia!
Although I am sure you will hear from Fiona direct in due course, I thought you might like to know that I received a very appreciative phone call from her last night, on behalf of all the family. She was delighted with how it all went. And I am hearing that this has helped them take the next step along the road without Francis.
